Easy Pesto Recipe! 🌱

We can't keep up with our herb plants this summer so it's time to make some pesto batches to freeze for off season - you'll thank me later!⁣

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups Fresh Basil, packed⁣

  • ½ Cup Freshly Grated Parmesan⁣

  • ½ Cup Olive Oil⁣

  • ā…“ Cup Pine Nuts⁣

  • 3 Garlic Cloves (3 tsp minced)⁣

  • ¼ tsp Salt⁣

  • ā…› tsp freshly ground pepper⁣

Directions

  1. Put basil leaves and pine nuts into a food processor and pulse several times⁣

  2. Add the garlic and parmesan and pulse several times more. Scrape down the sides with a spatula⁣

  3. Slowly add in olive oil either while processor is running slowly or in batches while pulsing in between⁣

  4. Finish by adding in salt and pepper, add more to taste⁣

  5. Store in an air tight container⁣
